All things new.

You've all been very gracious to be patient and keep up with the continual floods of photos and "catching-up" news about ever 2 months.  Perhaps regularity will come in time.  And it isn't as if there wasn't something to talk about...but I guess part of that is the people who would read the blog were involved already and didn't need a website to update them.  But either way, here is a photo essay of sorts to let you know where we're at on things...and these things are all new!

We bought a car...over the weekend of the derecho when all the power was out.

Then we moved!  Well...the Navy moved us up three flights of outdoor steps without an elevator!

Quick explanation of the condo pictures (I hate the blog set-up...its really hard to add captions and keep any alignment): living room (L) and porch (R); den (L), second bedroom (M), and second bathroom (R); master bedroom (L) and hallway to master bathroom (R); and the view from our bedroom.

We have gotten out of the boxes and into our home, and we have a lengthy list of projects to make our condo wonderful and homey...thanks to the help of our family and friends.  And the visiting list has included one sister, followed by one set of parents, the other set of parents and a sister with niece in tow, and our wonderful care group.  

Praise the Lord for his goodness and blessing, and for his wonderful mercies every day.  We never thought we'd still be in Virginia at this point, but he has called us and given us an incredible church, jobs, and place to call home.  Thank you for your prayers and support...and stop by anytime!
