Hemlock Point 2014

Once you graduate from high school or college, things never stop changing.  While in school, you are somewhat secluded in your own environment with worries mainly encompassing schoolwork and relationships at school (and extra-curriculars of course).  Then, life moves pretty fast and many of these things are pretty monumental: finding a suitable mate, marrying said mate, perhaps having kids (and buying houses, dogs, and other various purchasable things).  But not only does your life move, so do the lives of everybody else close to you!

So we stop at Hemlock Point this summer, a cabin in the middle of nowhere, PA, with Jonathan's family, for a brief interlude in the middle of the ever-changing circumstances.  This yearly family vacation is a point at which the changes are much more apparent…the vacation used to be at the beach, where we were young enough and without children that we could all drive 8-12 hours to South Carolina (and the house just large enough for adult children, but that was it); where I went the first two years as Jon's girlfriend, and stayed in a room with his little sister Christina; where each year came and went with either a new marriage or a new baby coming or having come.  There's no real conclusion to this thought, just a rambling and processing of all of the continuing excitement!

And a chance to post pictures of Hemlock Point 2014…enjoy!

A visit to Gma Reimer!
Mom and Levi!
Dad and Levi, at the real cabin...
This is what uncles are for!
Tom and Adeline for a boat ride!
Levi really does like Adeline!  Sweet cousins!
Goin' fishin'!
Classic Levi look…always interested in the camera, not necessarily smiling.
Mid-day walk-about with Charissa and Sophia

Grandma Reimer!
Perhaps our Christmas photo this year?
Maybe not the best picture of the Reimer men, but Levi's face...
